Raayan Movie cast (Dhanush 50) :

Raayan, also known as D 50, marks Dhanush’s highly anticipated 50th project and is generating a lot of buzz as an action-packed drama currently in production. Dhanush not only stars in the lead role but also writes and directs the film. The official poster and title announcement for the movie took place on February 19th at 6 P.M. Raayan features Dhanush directing his brother, the writer-director Selvaraghavan, and is currently being filmed on sets set up at Aditya Ram Studios in Chennai

Raayan reportedly came to life after Dhanush had the idea for it 15 years ago. It’s said that Dhanush originally wanted ‘Raayan’ to be his first movie as a director, but he ended up making ‘Pa Pandi’ instead. Selvaraghavan, Dhanush’s older brother who also has a role in the movie, clarified that he didn’t contribute to the script of Raayan. He emphasized that the movie is Dhanush’s passion project.

D50 cast

The cast of D 50, Dhanush’s directorial debut, includes Dhanush himself in the lead role, along with other actors like Nithya Menon, S J Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamurali, Anikha Surendran, Selvaraghavan, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. D 50 is funded by Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures and directed by Dhanush. Om Prakash is the cinematographer and Prasanna GK is editing the film. A.R. Rahman is responsible for the music, marking the fourth collaboration between Rahman and Dhanush. Their previous projects include successful albums like Raanjhanaa, Maryan, and Atrangi Re.

Additionally, Dhanush’s upcoming projects include a film directed by Sekhar Kammula, referred to as ‘DNS,’ which has already begun production
